Anna Gasser’s necessary risk was her downfall in Big Air: “It will take a while for me to digest it”

Livigno – The two-time Olympic snowboard champion Anna Gasser did not get past eighth place in the Olympic final in her flagship discipline, Big Air, on Monday. The 34-year-old from Carinthia fell in the first attempt and didn’t land cleanly in the second either. The first big air Olympic champion in history not named Anna Gasser is the Japanese Kokomo Murase. The 18-year-old Olympic debutant Hanna Karrer came in twelfth place in Livigno.
