Writer Jessé Souza published and then deleted this Monday (9) an anti-Semitic attack in which he associated the financier’s case with the “Jewish lobby”.
In the video, Jessé states that “Epstein is the most perfect product of Jewish Zionism” and says that the financier “was not only financed by the Jewish lobby […]but Zionism is the driving force behind all the crimes that have been committed.”
“The industrial pedophile network only existed to later serve to blackmail politicians and billionaires, especially Americans, to have support for Israel’s murderous practices”, he states, without presenting evidence and contradicting what has been published about the case.
Jessé has a doctorate in sociology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and is the author of several books. Among them, “The Delayed Elite” (2017), “The Middle Class in the Mirror” (2018) and “The Right Poor” (2024). He was president of Ipea (Institute for Applied Economic Research) between 2015 and 2016.
He also stated that “the Jewish Holocaust was pimped by Zionism, with the help of Hollywood and the entire world media, dominated by the Jewish lobby to accuse any criticism of Israel of anti-Semitism.”
“Like Israel, Epstein killed and raped girls and boys, American and elsewhere, by tacit and sometimes explicit authorization of the power of the Jewish lobby in the world.”
Wanted by Sheet this Monday (9), Jessé stated that he removed the video from the air. “I didn’t properly separate the Zionist and Jewish lobby. I realized the mistake and removed it,” he said.
“I regret making the mistake as I have several non-Zionist Jewish friends and critics of Israel.”
The writer published a video on Monday afternoon apologizing for the “slip”, but without going back on his statements. “I keep everything else in the video [anterior]. Epstein is not an isolated case, but rather a favorite child of racist and murderous ideology. The Zionist lobby in the media and cultural industry has actually prostituted the memory of the Jewish Holocaust to use it as an excuse for all the excesses, genocides and land theft carried out by Israel.”
The statements were classified as “a repertoire of conspiracy theories that refer to the ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ [texto que atribui aos judeus um plano de dominação mundial] or Nazism” by Fernando Lottenberg, commissioner of the OAS (Organization of American States) to combat anti-Semitism.
For Lottenberg, replacing the word “Jew” with “Zionist” in the second video does not change the content of the speech. “It’s the way you represent anti-Semitism today. You say ‘I don’t have a problem with Jews, I have a problem with Zionists’,” he said.
Expressions used by Jesse, such as “dominated media” and “Jewish lobby”, reproduce “all traditional anti-Semitic clichés”, said Lottenberg.
Regarding the writer’s claim that he has Jewish friends, the commissioner compared it to the speech of someone who practices racism. “The anti-Semite has Jewish friends, the racist has black friends, so he cannot be anti-Semitic or racist. It’s not true. That doesn’t mean anything,” he said.
In another video, published on Thursday (6) on his Instagram profile and which remains online, Jessé had already dealt with the Epstein case and compared the episode to that in Brazil.
“One is the x-ray of the world elite and the other of the native elite. An elite that has no respect for any social law,” he stated. In the same video, he again cited the “Jewish lobby, especially the Mossad [serviço secreto de inteligência israelense]” as “the driving force of the entire plot” linked to Epstein.
