Three names that are influential for this year’s Vienna Impulstanz festival: Eun-Me Ahn, Maguy Marin and newcomer Christos Papadopoulos. The latter because the piece My Fierce Ignorant Step The Greek choreographer opens the four-week festival from July 9th in the Volkstheater. The internationally renowned South Korean Ahn will also be appearing at Impulstanz for the first time, with two major works: North Korea Dancealso in the Volkstheater, and Post-Oriental Express in the Burgtheater.
