After yesterday’s attacks by Israel, Iran reports two deaths. Two air defense soldiers were killed by Israeli shelling on Monday, according to a statement published by Iran’s Tasnim news agency on Tuesday. TASR informs about it based on the report of the DPA agency.

The place of their deployment was not specified by the Iranian media. Emergency services were previously informed of 15 injured, with 14 of them coming from Khuzistan province, located in the southwest of the country, and one from the capital, Tehran.
Retaliate with a missile attack
Iran’s armed forces on Sunday fired rockets at Israel for the first time in two months, saying it was in retaliation for its attacks in Lebanon, while again demanding that they stop. The Israeli Air Force responded with retaliatory strikes early Monday morning. On Monday, both countries declared that the attacks had temporarily ended.
The US did not get involved
The Financial Times reported on Tuesday that the United States was not directly involved, although US forces did send fighter jets to protect its troops stationed in Israel.
