Scientists explain the reason for the horses to be the "great athletes of nature"

The success of these animals, which run at incredible speeds with great physical strength, is due to a mutation in the Keap1 gene that increases the production of energy in horses and protects them against cellular oxidative stress, according to a scientific article published in Science.
