Chamber analyzes project for parents to take a vacation in school recess

The House of Representatives is analyzing a proposal that guarantees parents with school children the right of priority to take a vacation during the holiday period in educational institutions.

Bill 362/25, authored by Deputy Chris Tonietto (PL-RJ), includes the measure in (CLT).

Second, during the recess in the academic period, parents have difficulty finding places where children can stay, and cannot enjoy their free time with children.

“Not rarely, due to the incompatibility of the work period with school holidays, parents need to leave their children with relatives, in day care centers, holiday and similar colonies, unable to enjoy the characteristic free time of holidays to strengthen family bonds.”

The project will be analyzed conclusively by the work, constitution and justice and citizenship committees. To become law, the approval of the House and Senate is necessary.
