The current world situation can’t really mess with your craft any worse than in the case of Aliosha Biz: in 2021, the Russian-Jewish violin virtuoso, who has lived in Vienna for a quarter of a century, was in his early 50s and had managed to turn his always latent talent for humor into a real one to convert solo cabaret. His successful debut relied heavily on the ironic play on his own complex origin story.
