Document presents 12 administrative irregularities and is based on the forecast of failure of Corinthians accounts in 2024
Paulo Roberto Bastos Pedro, member of Cori (Guidance Council), filed a new impeachment request against President Augusto Melo on Monday (5.MAI.2025). The information was released by the newspaper .
The document is based on the forecast of club accounts for 2024 and has 12 administrative irregularities.
This is the 3rd process of removal faced by the current agent since assuming the presidency of the São Paulo club. Previous requests were motivated by the Vaidebet case and for reasons related to the lack of transparency on financial pending issues.
The document is based on items C, D and and Article 106 of the Corinthians Statute, which projects the impeachment of the president by “Having him infringed, by action or omission, expresses statutory norm” and by “Practice of an act of irregular or fear management”.
Among the main irregularities pointed out is the hiring of the companies Workserv Private Security Ltda and Kiara Security Private Ltda without following recommendations from the Compliance Department.
The document indicates that there was an 85% increase in the cost of these services in the football department, configuring infraction to article 119 of the Statute.
Paulo Roberto also highlights the 23% growth in the payroll of employees, which went from R $ 49,451 million to R $ 60,951 million. Other problems include the absence of budgetary review for 2024 and the non -inclusion of estimated expense of R $ 40 million for the case of player Matias Rojas.
The management of the Faithful Supporter program is criticized based on comparative collection data. “The collection of games in 2022 was R $ 97,598 million, already in 2023 was R $ 90,771 million, while 2024 with successive records of records the collection was R $ 93,994 million, ie values less than 2022, even with the small increase in public capacity due to the renovations left by NFL,” states the counselor in the document.
The request also mentions a deficit of R $ 181.8 million, corresponding to 19.45% of gross revenues of 2023, while the budget approved in April 2024 foresaw a surplus of R $ 17.6 million. The non -payment of R $ 44.1 million in debt with former sponsor Pix Bet also includes the irregularities.
