Alpha Bet’s brand released from the uniforms of 2 players in the final minutes of the match against Santos on Sunday (4.MAI)
Grêmio had problems with the alpha logo, a master sponsor, who took off from the 2 -player shirts during the victory against Santos on Sunday (4.MAI.2025), for Serie A of the Brazilian Championship.
The incident took place at the Grêmio Arena in Porto Alegre and affected the uniforms of defender Marlon and defender Wagner Leonardo in the final minutes of the match.
The absence of the brand was noted after the goal of Cristian Olivera, 31 minutes of the 2nd half, when the logo was no longer visible on Marlon’s shirt. Wagner also finished the game without the logo.
Alfa, a sports betting company, has a partnership with the club for about three months. At the beginning of the agreement, Grêmio had to adapt the uniforms covering the mark of the former sponsor with the new logo, before the official debut of the shirt.
There is still no information about the cause of detachment or if other athletes had the same problem in the match.
