Plowdiw-Lara Tiefenthaler brought the gold medal in the lightweight one on Saturday at the European Rowing Championships in Plowdiw, Bulgarian. In the EM record time of 7:29:38 minutes, the 25-year-old Viennese (Rowing Association Staw) won 2.35 seconds ahead of Norwegian Maia Lund and 2.38 in front of the Russian Marija Schownner.
