Fraudsters are increasingly using CI-Deeppakes from celebrities for their machinations. This has become a major problem for meta in recent years. Now the oversight board has spoken out. The control instance confirms what critics have long said: Meta does not do enough to enforce your own rules. The company makes it much too easy to carry out their stitches on the platforms, i.e. Facebook and Instagram.
