Defender Alexander Barboza became a concern for Botafogo thinking about the Copa Libertadores final, which takes place this Saturday (11/30). Against Palmeiras, this Tuesday (11/26), the defender complained of pain in his thigh during the second half.

In addition to him, another defender became a problem for the team: Bastos felt his left thigh during the beginning of the game against Palmeiras and left the field with an expression of pain. Adryelson came on and scored Alvinegro’s third in the 3-1 victory over Alviverde.

What happened to Barboza?

When he made a move, close to twelve minutes into the second half, Barboza claimed he was inconvenienced. The defender complained of muscle pain in his thigh, which caused the Botafogo bench to move and Danilo Barbosa to start warming up.

However, the defender wanted to insist and continued on the field, despite the pain. He stretched, lengthened his body and played until the end, with good interventions.

Will Barboza play against Atlético-MG?
