The election to the Amazonas Workers Party (PT) board (PT) (AM) raised suspicion of fraud after state deputy Sinésio Campos was reelected to the presidency with 100% votes in five cities.
The party’s internal opposition presented resources with evidence of irregularity, but they were denied by the state directory, controlled by Campos. The information was published in the newspaper Panel column S.Paulo Folha.
Campos was reelected in the first round with 60.7% votes in total Amazonas. The election took place on July 6.
Cities under suspicion
The suspicions of irregularities took place in the cities of Guajará, Juruá, Maraã, Pauini and Tapauá. Less than 200 voters voted, all in Campos, and there was no record of white or null votes.
In two other cities, São Gabriel da Cachoeira and Manicoré, Campos had 99% of the votes. In São Gabriel, he had a null vote. In Manicoré, one white and one null.
Opponents did not receive any vows in these cities.

Funds
In resources on irregularities, the opposition argues that the concentration of votes is atypical. In São Gabriel da Cachoeira, caligraffes and evidence in signatures on the presence list of several voters were identified.
In Alvarães, where Campos had 83% of the votes, at least two people who have died had their voting records.
