Singapore-Simon Bucher was the first Austrian to crack the 23-second mark over 50 m dolphin on Sunday at the start of the pelvic competitions of the swimming World Cup in Singapore, but just missed the final of the best eight athletes. The 25-year-old Tyrolean finished tenth in the semi-final in 22.95 seconds. Iris Julia Berger and Bernhard Reitshammer were already eliminated over 100 m of dolphin or 100 m breast.
