Dramatic Evacuation: Passengers flee by flames through the emergency slip

An American Airlines plane had to be evacuated at Denver International Airport due to a failing in the landing system during take -off.

Before the match, the aircraft – a Boeing 737 Max 8 to Miami and 173 passengers and six crew on board – suffered a problem on a tire. As a precaution, the airport emergency team and the Denver Firefighters were called to assist in evacuation, with the passengers out quickly by emergency slides.

Five people received medical attention at the scene, and one was referred to the hospital with minor injuries.

American Airlines has confirmed that all passengers and crew landed safely, that the plane will be subjected to inspections and withdrawn from service.

Shay Armisted, one of the passengers, described moments of great panic during the evacuation when the fire began at the aircraft.
