“It was a Ukrainian drone that attacked Russian goals. There is no evidence that it was a Russian drone,” Palloson told Estonian Radio Err. According to radio reports, this was the first such incident in the country.
Kiev on Saturday evening attacked the oil and gas terminal in the Russian city of Ust-Luga near the Estonian border. Palloson explained that on Monday a farmer in the Estonian district of Tarta found a wreckage drone in the field and a clearly visible crater after the explosion.
The drone was probably incorrectly navigated by Russian electronic devices, DPA said. It is not clear whether it has arrived from the Latvian or Russian airspace.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said that the drone was hit by Estonia because Russia continues to war against Ukraine and Kiev is defending itself.
