Carlos Alberto da Costa Moreira, the actor’s father, was arrested on December 14, 1994 for helping the mafia in the distribution of weapons and drugs in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the actor, he has lived 21 years of lie and to this day the relationship with his father is a constant theme in therapy. “It was a cut in my life, 21 years old that I lived a lie. I went from 100 to 0 as if I had hit the front wall, in 1 second,” Hassum said in an interview with Fantástico.
