The Minister of Institutional Relations, Hoffmannrepudiated the note issued on Thursday (18) by União Brasil and declared the accusations as “Madada and Levian”by attributing “falsely” to the government “the responsibility for publications that associate party leaders with crime investigations”.
“Repudiate to unfounded and light accusations made in a statement issued today by the Union Party Directorate. The party management has every right to decide the departure of its members who have positions in the federal government. In fact, it is not the first time they do this. What cannot be falsely attributing the responsibility for publications that associate the party’s leader with crime investigations. This is not true,” said the minister.
In the note published to announce the departure of the government’s acronym, União Brasil declares “unrestricted solidarity” to Antonio Rueda, in the financial and fuel sectors in Brazil.
The party says: “It is deeply strange that these untruths will come to public just a few days after the official determination of Union Brazil affiliates of positions occupied in the Lula government – legitimate, democratic and widely debated movement in the higher instances.”
“Such ‘coincidence’ reinforces the perception of political use of the state structure to wear out the image of our main leadership and, consequently, weaken the independence of a party that adopted a position contrary to the current government,” the statement adds.
The PF finds if Rueda would be the hidden owner of executive jets used to transport members of organized crime, after testimony of one of the pilots of these aircraft. The corporation, however, points out that the party leader is not yet formally investigated.
Earlier, Rueda had already classified the situation as a defamatory campaign. “What is, yes, is a political background in these leviandades, which are being orchestrated, using a serious police operation, to attack opponents,” he said.
Currently, in the federal government, União Brasil has the affiliated Celso Sabino occupying the leadership of the Ministry of Tourism. A.
