Low level of waters makes it difficult for the F2 Motorcycle World Championship

The low water level in the Tagus River forced the organization of the Motor Motoric World Championship to have extra measures to perform the final of the race.

It takes more than the commitment of pilots in the preparation of the last race of the F2 Motor Motorcycle Championship, in Vila Velha de Rodão. Due to the works in the fratel dam, the river water level is below desirable and requires extra measurements for the Tagus final.

There are 19 pilots in the race. The world champion in 2002 and vice champion in 2021 now occupies the 13th place in the overall classification, after several technical problems.

Five pilots compete for 1st place, including the Swedes Wiberg who lead the classification.

The F2 Motorcycle World Championship takes place this weekend. The champion is known on Sunday.
