Andreson, who is the main target of investigations into sales and decision leaks, said in messages analyzed by the PF that he received R$19 million to act in a process that would be related to the company.
The suspicions are also related to amounts under investigation received from JBS by the office of lawyer Mirian Ribeiro, which were identified by Coaf (Financial Activities Control Council). She is Andreson’s wife.

When mentioning the alleged payments in a 2020 dialogue, according to the PF, Andreson stated that the process in which he was involved was linked to “Mr. Zé Mineiro’s people”, in “reference to José Batista Sobrinho, founder of JBS, the largest company in the meat sector in the world and father of Wesley Batista”.
The police analysis points out that Andreson had access to the draft of a rapporteur vote by Minister Nancy Andrighi that was not yet publicly accessible. The case dealt with J&F, the controlling company of JBS.
Recently, an investigated civil servant who worked in the minister’s office, Márcio Toledo, was dismissed by the STJ. The judge is not investigated.
In the report, the PF states that “the circumstance reinforces that Andreson had privileged access to draft decisions within the scope of the Superior Court of Justice.”
“Given the amount of information that points to the relationship between Andreson and Mirian Ribeiro with the JBS Group and the complexity of these evidentiary elements, it is noted that this aspect will be further explored in an autonomous investigative procedure”, says the PF.
When contacted, JBS states that “any payment made to the lawyer’s office refers to fees —success or pro-labore— in the company’s processes. All services are effectively proven in the records of these procedures.” “The office no longer provides services to JBS,” says the company.
Also sought, the defense of Andreson and Mirian did not speak out. The lobbyist, wearing an electronic ankle bracelet, in Primavera do Leste (MT).
Márcio Toledo’s defense was not located.
Minister Nancy Andrighi stated, in a statement, that she is following the allegations with perplexity and that she has already made her office available to help clarify the facts. “I trust that the investigation carried out by the Superior Court of Justice and the investigations by other police authorities will serve to definitively clarify the matter and punish those involved in an exemplary manner,” he said.
When contacted, Minister Nancy Andrighi did not comment, but previously said that she does not comment “on the facts and behaviors of third parties investigated by the Federal Supreme Court”.
The PF report, signed on the 6th, was the last one touched by Marco Bontempo, the delegate responsible for the investigations and who decided to leave the case citing personal reasons.
The investigation into the suspected sale of sentences is taking place in the minister’s office, at the (Supreme Federal Court). In total, the offices of at least 10 STJ ministers have already been cited in the investigations, but none of the magistrates are being investigated.
The PF states that Zanin determined that the investigations continue at the Supreme Court, despite there being no people with jurisdiction in the court being investigated, to “prevent nullities in sensitive procedures, including in the premises of the STJ itself”, protect the investigation against “external interference potentially aimed at embarrassing the criminal prosecution” and “preserve the possibility that new evidence could involve authorities with jurisdiction [no STF]”.
The objective of the preliminary report that mentions JBS was to consolidate the main suspicions of the investigation. He advances on others related to cabinets and people close to the ministers, but not on them themselves.
In the document, the PF asks for the investigations to continue and states that it is “essential to maintain precautionary measures, especially the removal of the employees under investigation, in order to prevent the reactivation of the scheme and the use of the state structure for criminal purposes.”
Andreson’s involvement
The investigation into the STJ ministers’ offices was an outcome of the lawyer’s death in (MT), which occurred at the end of 2023. The investigation into the murder found suspicious conversations between him and Andreson on the victim’s cell phone.
The messages showed relationships between businesspeople and STJ employees.
The investigation revealed a series of suspicions. Andreson was hired by businesspeople interested in legal proceedings and, in the courts, he lobbied judges and civil servants to meet their interests.
In some cases, his wife, who is a lawyer, formally represented Andreson’s clients in the proceedings and drafted contracts and documents to facilitate the advancement of the criminal scheme.
The Federal Police found the files seized in the minutes of votes from STJ ministers. The court has so far dismissed one civil servant.
