The former first lady attacked the president () and the first lady during a Mulher event in Rio Verde (GO), this Saturday (11).
The national president of PL Mulher referred to the two as “a little couple who demonize Israel, but who have now started attending churches”. Michelle has more than once called the left “cursed”, “ordinary” and “promotes destruction”. The former first lady is one of the party’s leaders with national expression and dialogues well with the conservative evangelical sector.
(PL)’s wife made reference to Janja’s trip to the Basilica of Our Lady of Nazaré, in Belém (PA). The first lady published this Friday (3) a video in which she appears praying with President Lula after problems on the plane that was taking the presidential delegation to the Marajó archipelago.
Michelle said that Lula is a “first-rate spender” and that “someone pays” for the growth in revenue. “It changes the family plate, the rice, the beans, the protein for those who need it most.
“It touches the family’s plate, the rice, the beans, the protein of those who need it most. I know that God allowed this moment to show that when the righteous governs, the people rejoice, and when the wicked governs, the nation groans. And that is what has happened with so many taxes”, he stated.
According to her, Lula should follow the example of former president of Uruguay José Pepe Mujica. “This was a real socialist, bad teeth, a falling car, my friend said he had, I think it was a Beetle, a Beetle falling apart, a damaged house, that’s it,” she said, referring to the president as a “socialist who just wants to live in luxury at the expense of the taxpayer’s money.”
Bolsonaro’s defense and elections
The former first lady repeated that her husband is a victim of the system. Listed for a possible ticket to Planalto with (Republicans) in 2026, Michelle said that “an election without Jair Bolsonaro does not exist”.
“He continues to be the only right-wing leader running for President of the Republic, because what he is going through is a huge injustice,” he stated. The former president is ineligible until 2030 by decision of the TSE.
Michelle said she tells Bolsonaro to keep his “head up, take care of his health and get closer to God.” According to her, at home, she tells the former president that “the anklet on your leg is not about you, it’s about a system, about the rottenness of politics.” Bolsonaro has been under house arrest for more than two months.
Different states have held PL Mulher events. Last week, Michelle passed through Ji-Paraná, in Rondônia. On today’s stage there were more men (nine) in reserved seats than women (eight). The spaces were occupied by deputies, senators, councilors and PL Mulher leaders.
In her speech, the former first lady said that the men were present because the PL pursues “collaborative politics”. “Those who demonize the male figure, the figure of the man, are the feminists. We are feminine women who want to work together, we love our husbands, our families”, he added.
Honorary Citizen
Honor was presented to the former first lady during the event. The title of honorary citizen, proposed by then state deputy Fred Rodrigues (today he is vice-president of the PL in the state), was approved by the Legislative Assembly of Goiás in September 2023 and sanctioned at the time by governor Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil).
During the delivery, Michelle was praised in her speeches. “This title is the gratitude of the people of Goiás to you for your work. You have been an inspiration to all of us, but especially to the women of Brazil”, said state deputy Major Araújo (PL).
