Crime and violence and financial and political corruption are the topics that most concern Brazilians, according to data released this Friday (24) by a global survey conducted by Ipsos.
40% of Brazilians are concerned about crime and violence. In a ranking of 29 countries, Brazil is the seventh most concerned about the issue, behind Colombia (45%), Sweden (57%), Mexico (59%), South Africa (60%), Chile (63%) and Peru (68%).
In relation to financial and political corruption, Brazil is also the seventh most concerned about the topic. The first country on this list is Indonesia (68%), which is followed by Peru (60%), Malaysia (54%), South Africa (51%), Hungary (47%) and Thailand (43%).
For the survey, the Ipsos institute interviewed 1,000 Brazilians between 16 and 74 years old between September 19th and October 3rd. In relation to the Brazilian sample, the survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
