Hortência gives a motivational talk in Acre and says: “Either you are a world champion or you are nothing”

Brazilian sports icon, Hortência Marcari is in Sena Madureira to give the lecture “Lessons of a lifetime: strategies, values ​​and attitudes of a champion”promoted by the State Government, through Segov.

In a press conference, the former player said that this is her first visit to Acre and that she is very happy with the reception. She also recalled winning the world title in 1994. “Either you are world champion or you are nothing. I was already 35 years old when I became champion, I was almost at a standstill. I have nothing to complain about in my career,” she said.

Hortência’s talk has a motivational character. “I highlighted in the lecture how I thought and acted. First focusing on the individual part and then on the team”, he explained.

The event was also attended by Secretary of State Luís Calixto, state deputy Gilberto Lira, Marcio Pereira and former mayor Mazinho Serafim, who accompanied vice-governor Mailza Assis on the program.
