The Secretary of Defense of the United States, Pete Hegseth, announced, this Friday, the 7th, that the country carried out another attack against a vessel transporting drugs in the Caribbean Sea; three men died during the assault. “The attacks will continue until the poisoning of the American people stops,” warned the secretary.
This is the 17th attack announced in the offensive that began in early September. Now the total number of deaths during the operation, both in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific, rises to 70. The operation was carried out in international waters in the Eastern Pacific. No American soldiers were injured during the action.
Video of the bombing shows the small vessel catching fire shortly after being hit. “To all the narco-terrorists who threaten our homeland: if you want to stay alive, stop trafficking drugs. If you continue trafficking deadly drugs, we will kill you,” Hegseth wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
