Influencer Ciro Alexandre Silva do Santos, known as Ciro Alê, was accused of verbally attacking and breaking the glass at the service desk at the Bahia Member Service Center (CAS), located in Fonte Nova. The confusion happened this Sunday (8), before the game between Tricolor and Atlético-GO, for the Brazilian Championship.
According to Bahia, the act of violence was motivated by the fact that it was no longer possible to check in for the influencer’s mother. The procedure had already been completed. The club offered the option of purchasing a discounted ticket in another sector, which was not accepted by Ciro, who threw a punch against the glass where the attendant was.
The Bahia employee suffered cuts caused by the shrapnel. She was taken to a care unit. The influencer was detained by the police and taken to the Fonte Nova police station to provide clarification on what happened.
In a statement published by the Bahia Notícias website, Ciro Alê said he lost his temper after his mother was “disrespected” at the Bahia Customer Service Center.
“Nothing justifies aggression. I made a mistake. I lost my mind and reason. But I was really quite nervous. I still heard my mother, a 75-year-old woman, being disrespected and I ended up overdoing myself. I didn’t want to break the glass. My mother explained that I didn’t knew how to check in, that she was elderly. The person (who I didn’t even see) said that she couldn’t check in but that she could buy the ticket with a 50% discount when my mother said that she couldn’t. buy the ticket because she didn’t have money and the person said: it’s your problem, I ended up punching the glass and saying: it’s your problem, please respect her. And I apologize to whoever was helping. It’s not hers, she’s just following orders. Bahia needs to have more respect for its fans”, says an excerpt from the note.
Bahia stated that it is providing support to the attacked employee and will initiate administrative proceedings against the influencer. The club also promises to take appropriate legal action over what happened.

Before the start of the match against Atlético-GO, the member of Esporte Clube Bahia SAF, Ciro Alexandre Silva dos Santos, carried out an act of violence against a Club employee.
The associate threw a punch against the glass at the service counter, resulting in injuries to the attendant caused by shrapnel.
The employee was promptly rescued and taken to medical care in a state of shock. The attacker was taken to the Arena Fonte Nova police station to provide information about what happened.
The unjustified aggression, allegedly motivated by the fact that it was no longer possible to check-in his mother, with the attacker also refusing to purchase a discounted ticket to another sector, is completely incompatible with the standards of conduct expected of Club members.
Therefore, administrative proceedings will be initiated against Ciro Alexandre Silva dos Santos. Bahia will also take the appropriate legal measures to ensure that he is criminally liable for his actions.
The Club strongly repudiates any form of violence and expresses its solidarity with the attacked employee, and informs that it will provide all necessary support to the employee.
Finally, Bahia reiterates that it will not tolerate any type of aggression, threat or disrespect directed towards its employees. Our Club is made by people and for people, and everyone, whether members or employees, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
