The storm recorded in Feijó on Friday night (26) exposed structural problems at the municipal hospital. Records made by residents and shared on social media show rainwater invading the interior of the unit, running down the ceiling and reaching internal areas of the building.

In the videos, it is possible to observe intense drips and accumulation of water in corridors, a scenario that caused concern about the safety of patients, companions and employees who use the hospital. The situation occurred during a period of heavy rainfall, which caused disruption in several neighborhoods of the city.
The presence of water within a space considered essential for serving the population generated outrage among residents, who demanded clarification and measures to prevent the problem from recurring. The episode also raises questions about the maintenance of the physical structure of the health unit.
To date, no official information has been released about possible damage to equipment or direct impacts on the hospital’s functioning. The space remains open for demonstrations by the management of Feijó Hospital and the Department of Health, so that they can clarify the causes of what happened and indicate what measures will be adopted.
