Government members are betting on one, with a direct injection of money to millions of lower-income people.
The most important is the entry into force of the exemption for those earning up to R$5,000 per month, with an estimated contribution of more than R$20 billion to the economy next year.
Starting in February, there will also be a withdrawal of R$1,000 for students who graduate from high school, in addition to an increase in the granting of free cylinders from the program and the social electricity tariff, which will reach people registered in CadÚnico with an income between half and one minimum wage. In the case of the electricity bill alone, another 55 million people will benefit.
The expectation of government interlocutors is that the combination of these programs will give another boost to the recovery of Lula’s popularity. The PT member would thus enter a more comfortable position during the presidential campaign period.
