O Flamengo is very close to deciding the departure of Matías Viña to River Plate, from Argentina. The Uruguayan left-back is close to one-year loan, without financial compensation, but with a mandatory purchase clause linked to the achievement of sporting goals. Only final adjustments remain for the agreement to be made official. The value of the possible purchase at the beginning of 2027 is 4 million dollars.

Furthermore, the Flamengo will stop paying R$750,000 of the athlete’s monthly salary.

At 28 years old, Viña participated in ten matches for Rubro-Negro last season and positively evaluates the possibility of playing in Argentine football.
