Changes to global minimum tax after US concerns

Washington – Around 145 countries agreed on Monday to change the 2021 global minimum tax agreement, dispelling US concerns that the rules could disadvantage US companies. The new package of measures preserves the framework for a global minimum tax of 15 percent, as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) announced.
