Cologne – RTL News will lose around 230 jobs as part of the announced job cuts at RTL Deutschland. The broadcaster announced this. A total of around 600 jobs are to be cut in the group. According to the press release, the measures are part of a realignment of brands, programs and processes. The aim is to strengthen journalistic quality, to use editorial forces digitally more effectively and to secure journalistic clout in a digital media world.
