The centuries-old mountain and field names say it all: At Windsfeld in the Radstädter Tauern it usually blows quite well. A 2,200 meter high mountain in the north of this high plateau is significantly called Windschaufel. The first wind farm in the state of Salzburg is now to be built here at Windsfeld in Pongau.
