Tehran – Iranian security forces are apparently taking action against injured demonstrators, according to a UN expert. There are reports that protest participants are being abducted from hospitals and detained, said the UN special rapporteur on Iran, Mai Sato, in a video interview with the Reuters news agency on Monday. This would be a serious violation of the right to medical care enshrined in international law.
