On February 19th, Thomas P. will have to answer for gross negligent homicide before the Innsbruck regional court. The Salzburg native and his girlfriend Kerstin G. wanted to climb the Großglockner in January 2025. He returned alone from the tour of Austria’s highest mountain. Now the public prosecutor’s office is accusing him of a total of nine mistakes that are said to have contributed to the death of his 33-year-old girlfriend.
