In the first phone call, the young woman contacted her biological father and explained the situation. On the other end of the line, he heard in response that he was busy. The conversation was short, cold and without a demonstration of interest or welcome, which led the young woman to end the call, visibly embarrassed and shaken.

Then, she decided to call her stepfather, identified only as Júnior. Even though he was also busy, he answered attentively, listened to the request calmly and was readily available to help. The stepfather stated that he would leave quickly to resolve the situation, reassuring the young woman and reinforcing that she could count on him.

Excited, the young woman highlighted the difference in posture between the two. According to her, the episode made it clear that being a father goes beyond the biological bond. “He is not my father by blood, but he was the one who acted like a father”, he stated, highlighting that attitudes, care and presence build stronger bonds than any formal kinship.

The video sparked thousands of comments on social media, with internet users sharing similar stories and reinforcing the idea that the role of father is exercised on a daily basis, through support, responsibility and affection.
