If you want to prepare something different for dinner this time, you should like this idea. Aromatic stuffing of pork and vegetables covered with delicate, elastic dough – this is a recipe for a savory strudel.
It is perfect both as a warm meal at home and as something to take to work.
- 180 g of wheat flour,
- 100 g of butter,
- 1 yolk,
- 2 tablespoons of oil,
- a pinch of salt.
Stuffing:
- 300 g of minced pork,
- 1 onion,
- 1 carrot,
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste,
- sweet pepper powder,
- salt and pepper to taste,
- oil for frying.
Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the yolk and pour in the oil. Season with salt and knead the dough by adding a little warm water. Knead for about 10 minutes until it starts to come away from your hand. The consistency should be smooth and thick, and the dough should be elastic. Wrap in foil and set aside in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Prepare the stuffing. First, chop the onion and peeled carrot quite finely. Heat the oil in a pan. Add pork. Season with salt and pepper. After a few minutes, add the carrots and onion. Fry everything for another few minutes until the meat is no longer raw and the vegetables are soft. Then add the concentrate, sweet pepper powder and mix.
Roll out the dough thinly, spread with the filling and wrap the roulade. Place on a baking tray. Put in the oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes.
