A Military Environmental Police of Minas Gerais charged two men, on Saturday (31), for putting a lit cigarette in the mouth of a mule, in São Sebastião da Vargem Alegre (MG). The record, which ended up on social media, led the police to the suspects of .
The video shows a man placing and lighting a cigarette in the animal’s mouth. Another man participates in the recordings and mounts the animal, driving it with a cigarette in his mouth.
During the investigations, the perpetrators were identified, and one of them admitted to committing the act.
As a result of the facts, appropriate administrative and criminal measures were taken, including the preparation of an Environmental Infraction Report and sending the incident to the Civil Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
