PUC Minas (Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais) has started the selection process to grant 100% and 50% scholarships for its undergraduate courses. The opportunities cover several areas of knowledge and are valid for the entry of new students in the first semester of 2026.
Registration must be made exclusively through the university’s official website by 11:59 pm on February 8th.
Units and selection criteria
The vacancies are distributed across all of the institution’s campuses, including units in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (Barreiro, Betim, Contagem, Coração Eucarístico, Lourdes and São Gabriel) and the Poços de Caldas campus, in the south of Minas.
Unlike the traditional entrance exam, the classification of candidates will be based exclusively on their performance in the (National High School Examination). The institution will accept grades from any edition held between 2016 and 2025.
Socioeconomic profile
The program is aimed at meeting the per capita family income criteria (per person):
- Full (100%) and partial (50%) scholarships: Aimed at candidates with a gross monthly family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages per person.
- Only partial scholarships (50%): For candidates with gross monthly family income between 1.5 and 3 minimum wages per person.
Pre-selected candidates must present the mandatory documentation listed in the notice to prove their financial situation. Those who have an income higher than the established limits will not be eligible for .
Schedule and results
The selection process will follow the following calendar:
- February 10: Publication of the pre-selected list on the university portal.
- Until March 6th: Publication of the final result, after document analysis.
- Early 2026: Start of classes for successful candidates.
