Councils demand initiatives, executives announce projects and organizations rush to show that they are “using AI”. Additionally, there is an often underestimated human factor. Companies invest in technology, but they do not prepare leaders and teams to work with intelligent systems. Companies that can extract real value from AI take a different path. They treat AI as an organizational capability, not an experiment. They start with clear decisions, invest in consistent data, define explicit governance and accept that using AI requires changing the way we work.
These companies don’t just ask “which model to use?”, but something much more difficult:
“Are we ready to change how that decision is made?”
When the answer is yes, the technology works. When it is no, no model solves it.
