However, they often contain not only an interesting taste, but also numerous health-promoting properties. One of them is taarillo, an exotic carrier of a characteristic sight and multiple rooms. Called “tree tomato”, it can be an interesting and valuable addition to the diet.
Tamarillo, also called tree tomato the thick-leafed ciphomander is an exotic fruit from South America, more precisely from high mountain areas of the Andes. The bushes on which this fruit grows are one of the characteristic elements of local landscapes. Interestingly, New Zealand is currently the largest producer of this fruit.
It belongs to the nightshade family, just like tomatoes and eggplants. Therefore, it is characterized by an oval shapesmooth and shiny skin, as well as interesting color. The inside is extremely juicy and has small seeds.
The tamarillo fruit is ripe color from yellow, through orange, to intense red. The lighter the fruit, the sweeter it is. Dark red pieces, however, have a drier and more expressive aftertaste.
There is no denying that this is the case fruit with an unusual tasteattractive appearance and many properties. It is compared to a combination of tomato, passion fruit, kiwi and blackcurrant.
