Are you looking for an idea for Sunday dinner? This time, don’t make traditional pork chops – we have a better proposition. Viennese schnitzel made of veal it is delicious, it simply melts in your mouth. The way it is served is also delightful.

To prepare a real Viennese schnitzel, you need veal – a meat famous for its tenderness and unique, subtle taste. First of all, it is considered the leanest of red meats. 100 grams usually contains about 20 grams of protein and no more than 140 kilocalories.

Without a doubt, it can be concluded that veal will work well for people who care about their figure. Veal meat is also rich in zinc, iron and B vitamins, including B12, which is responsible for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Veal is also low in saturated fat and cholesterol, so it is worth eating for heart health.

Do you want to prepare a delicious veal cutlet, i.e. Viennese schnitzel? The recipe is simple, you will prepare two servings.

Ingredients:

Sznycle

  • 2 veal schnitzels, approx. 170 g each,
  • 1 larger egg,
  • a few tablespoons of flour,
  • a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs,
  • sun,
  • pepper.

Additionally:

  • clarified butter,
  • fried egg,
  • parsley.

Break the schnitzels into thinner cutlets using a pestle.

Sprinkle each schnitzel with salt and pepper, then bread it: first coat each portion of meat in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.

Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the schnitzels. Fry each cutlet until golden brown on both sides.

After frying, place the meat on a paper towel to remove excess fat.

Serve Viennese schnitzel with a fried egg, you can also sprinkle it with parsley. It tastes best with potatoes – some people serve it with potato salad.
