Dorival reveals that he didn’t ask for a Moroccan half: “I know little”

Corinthians coach Dorival Júnior revealed that he did not nominate 32-year-old Moroccan attacking midfielder Zakaria Labyad. The player is about to sign a contract with Timão.

This Sunday (8), after the defeat in the Derby, the commander said he received information from Memphis Depay about the athlete. They played together at PSV in the 2011-2012 season.

“Regarding the , it wasn’t a request from me. But I’m here to train the team. And the team that is given to me I will make. I know little about the athlete, I had information from Memphis. But if he comes, I can add, he will be treated very well like all the athletes. There is no problem with him not being nominated by me. He will be an important athlete and who will have the best conditions to do his job, fight for his space”, he commented.

On the other hand, Dorival celebrated being part of the group last season and is in the process of signing a new contract.

“We already know Angileri, welcome you again, may you continue developing the work”, he said.

Timão reinforced that the club has to continue moving in the market to reinforce the squad. In addition to those mentioned, Alvinegro is negotiating the arrival of midfielder Allan, from Flamengo.

“I plan more reinforcements, I would like three or four more reinforcements, that is our objective. We need a stronger team. The president knows this, I talk to Marcelo (Paz) every day”, he concluded.
