After Flaco’s celebration of scoring goals, Corinthians athletes were satisfied and did not like the attacker’s attitude, leading to confusion. Felipe Melo recalled that Yuri Alberto did something similar when he scored at Allianz Parque and treated the situation normally.
“You don’t want to? Don’t do it! Yuri Alberto, when he scored against Palmeiras, did the same thing at Allianz Parque. I was there watching the game”, said Felipe Melo, on social media.
“They won the game, he went and did it. And it’s all right. Yesterday it was Flaco López’s turn to do the same thing after the goal. It’s all right too. And I’ll say more: the Corinthians athletes going there to fight and not letting Flaco do such a thing, it’s right too. If I had been on the field in the game where Yuri Alberto did that, I would certainly be bothering him not to do it”, he added.
Felipe Melo: controversy is “mimimi”
Felipe Melo defined that the controversy created over the case in the classic between Corinthians and Palmeiras is “mimimi”.
“This is football, it’s classic. On the field it has to be that way. Everyone has to fight for their team, for their flag. What he did is unnecessary. In reality, (Corinthians) paid in kind with what happened at Allianz Parque. It’s an unnecessary ‘mimimi’. I respect everyone’s opinion, but that’s mine. What a ‘mimimi’, my God!”, he concluded.
