Sometimes we don’t have much time to prepare dessert. That’s when the milk cake recipe comes in handy. Preparing it itself won’t take much time and you’ll spend 10 minutes in the kitchen. Then all you have to do is wait for our delicacy to bake.

The advantage of this simple and quick dessert is that we do not need many complicated ingredients to make it. We already have most of these products at home, so we may not even need to shop. To prepare milk cake, you need to have:

  • 350 g of wheat flour,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 250 ml of milk,
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
  • 250 g sugar,
  • 70 g of butter,
  • 2 vanilla sugar,
  • a pinch of salt.

The preparation itself does not take much time. First, heat the milk in a pot and add the butter cut into pieces. Mix everything until a uniform mass is formed. Remove from the stove and set aside. Then beat the eggs with sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar to create a fluffy and light mass.

Add half of the warm milk and butter to it and mix gently. Gradually add half of the flour and baking powder and combine everything. Slowly add the rest of the flour and milk and mix with the remaining ingredients. Pour the dough into a form lined with baking paper and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until a stick inserted into the cake is dry.
