In a mini reshuffle, Recep Tayyip Erdogan proceeded shortly after midnight on Tuesday. The Turkish president has decided to change the ministers of interior and justice.
Specifically, Mustafa Tsiftsi will be the new Minister of Interior and will succeed Ali Gerlikaya. At the same time, Akin Gurlek will take the place of Yilmaz Tunds in the Ministry of Justice. This particular choice is expected to cause a great debate inside Turkey. Gourlek is the general prosecutor of Istanbul and spearheaded the prosecution of Ekrem Imamoglu.
All this happened a few hours before Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the other members of the Greek delegation to Ankara.
