Most recently, for Markus Figl (ÖVP), his office as district leader of the first district of Vienna was more of a side job. After all, after his rise to head of the Vienna ÖVP last year, Figl had to focus intensively on the reorganization of the city’s blacks. In the Vienna election in April 2025, the party fell into single digits with just 9.65 percent.
