Not everyone knows that they should be washed separately. Thanks to this, sweat, dust and cosmetic remnants will not be transferred to delicate textiles.
We can throw a maximum of 6 towels into the washing machine. Let’s not overfill the device – otherwise water and washing agents will not reach every place of the materials.
It is generally accepted that towels should be washed at 60 degrees Celsius to remove any bacteria. However, pay attention to the manufacturer’s recommendations. It is often the case that in the case of colored fabrics it will be 40 degrees Celsius.
We set a program with a longer washing time and thorough rinsing, adjusting the spinning to the materials. Do not pour large amounts of detergent because it will create a deposit in the fibers that will absorb water less easily.
However, we do not recommend using a softener. At first glance, it softens fabrics, but in fact it creates a coating on the towels that reduces their absorbent properties.
After washing, immediately remove the towels from the washing machine and put them in the dryer or hang them up so that they start drying immediately. If we leave them in the equipment, they will start to smell bad and bacteria will grow.
