Federal deputy Vinicius Gurgel (PL-AP) was the target of an operation by the PF (Federal Police) this Friday afternoon (13).
The operation takes place as part of an investigation into the activities of an alleged criminal organization that allegedly diverted public resources intended for works on unpaved stretches of BR-156, in the state of Amapá.
According to a note released by the PF, eight search and seizure warrants were executed, issued by the Federal Supreme Court (STF), in the state of Amapá.
The action is an offshoot of Operation Toll, launched in 2019, when vehicles and cash in the possession of those investigated were seized.
