Eurico Brilhante Dias: "Presidential elections were a message for Montenegro. Voters are against understanding with the extreme right"

In this edition of Fato Político, deputy Eurico Brilhante Dias arrives inspired by Antônio José Seguro’s victory and with firm messages for Luís Montenegro. Listen on podcast

Moved by António José Seguro’s result in the Presidential Elections, Eurico Brilhante Dias comes to Facto Político to ask Luís Montenegro to read the electoral results carefully: “Voters are against understanding with the extreme right”.

Regarding José Luís Carneiro’s patience – which is running out after having sent five letters with proposals to the prime minister -, the PS parliamentary leader explains that the consequence of the lack of response will be the government having to reach an agreement exclusively with Chega to make the legislature viable.

With no elections scheduled in the near future, Brilhante Dias does not definitively say that the legislature is to be carried to the end: “It depends exclusively on the government”.

Among all the facts that pass through our hands, political facts are our favorites. With journalist Diogo Teixeira Pereira, we will try to discover them between the lines of the speeches and in conversations with the protagonists of the political week. In the end, we make a political weather forecast for the following days which, if everything goes as expected, will almost always fail. Fato Político, every Saturday on SIC Notícias and on podcast.
