Military Police execute arrest warrants, seize weapons and recover motorcycles in the border region

Military police officers from the 5th Battalion (5th BPM), based in the municipality of Brasiléia, carried out a series of actions in the last 48 hours that resulted in the execution of arrest warrants, the seizure of firearms and the recovery of motorcycles registered as stolen in the border region.

According to the unit’s commander, Major Tales Rafael, the operations aim to intensify the fight against crime and reinforce public security in the region. During this period, four people who had outstanding arrest warrants were located by the police, detained and taken to the police station for legal proceedings.

Still during the actions, the garrison received complaints about individuals who were carrying illegally. After investigation, the information was confirmed and two shotguns were seized. The material was presented to the judicial police, who will be responsible for the appropriate measures.

In routine approaches carried out with motorcyclists traveling through the border area, the military also managed to identify two motorcycles that had been reported stolen.

The vehicles were seized and taken to the police station yard, where they will remain until they are duly returned to their owners.

According to the Military Police, inspection and patrolling actions in the border region will continue to be intensified with the aim of preventing crimes and ensuring greater security for the population.
