At least 31 people died and 150 were injured in Israeli attacks in Lebanon last night. Israel attacked several Hezbollah positions in the country. Tel Aviv guarantees that the attacks targeted important figures in the group. Missiles were fired at the capital, Beirut. Also in the south of the country, the Israeli armed forces issued evacuation orders for more than 50 villages and towns.
These bombings were in response to a wave of attacks launched hours earlier by the Lebanese Shiite group against several areas in northern Israel. They happened as a form of retaliation after the attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran.
Hezbollah speaks of self-defense after the death of Iranian supreme leader. The President of Lebanon has already condemned both Israel and Hezbollah,iz that the attacks undermine the government’s efforts to keep the country away from the scale of tension in the region.
